Timber Frame Designer

We are looking for an individual capable of designing a Timber Frame It is important to understand the beauty and tradition of the craft while also being up for the challenge of Glulam, CLT and advanced connections.

 Requirements: 

  • Design of timber frames and CLT projects
  • Creation of shop drawings and BVX
  • Estimating and managing multiple projects including wood and hardware orders
  • Communicating with customers

Candidates should have experience in Autocad Architecture and HSBCad (2017 and later), and have a sufficient knowledge of construction details.

Experience in Timber Frame and CNC is a plus.

Project Manager

We are looking for an individual with experience in the timber frame field 

Duties would include:

  • Scheduling projects for production
  • Have experience using AutoCAD
  • Quality control of fabricated components 
  • Coordinate shipping

Skills:

Timber Frame and Construction experience is required.

Some HR and management experience is preferred.

CNC Operator

We are looking for a highly motivated Timber Framer with several years experience in handcrafting to become a CNC operator on a Hundegger ROBOT Drive.

For the operation of this 6-axis machine it is important to have a passion for woodworking as well as a love for mechanics, robotics and electronics. Some coding experience and talent (BVX) is expected.

Work is shift and rotates on a bi weekly base.

Hand Work and Quality Control

We are looking for a individual that is interested in being part of the fast growing wood industry. This role would require being part of the pre-fabrication of timber frame and mass timber systems. 

Duties would include:

  • Hand work on timbers after CNC
  • Quality control of all timbers
  • Operating a 4-side planner
  • Driving forklifts
  • Shipping/Receiving
  • Inventory

Skills: 

Be able to work with an array of hand and power tools used during the fabrication process. Be able to perform general mechanical maintenance.Must be able to work in shifts.

Timber Frame or Construction experience is preferred but not required.
