Our team of experienced draftsmen and craftsmen collaborates closely with you, ensuring every aspect of your mass timber project is meticulously planned and executed for optimal strength, security, and aesthetic appeal. Whether you provide the mass timber materials or utilize our specialized procurement service to have them delivered directly to your job site, Sauter Timber is your partner in bringing your vision to life with the speed and accuracy that only precision prefabrication can offer.

We Fabricate your CLT

With our innovative 5-axis CNC machine, we are the first in North America to offer the ability of prefabrication of all six panel sides in one process. Our CNC process starts with an unformatted panel straight from any manufacturer’s CLT press, allowing for flexibility and precision.

Sourcing Your CLT

Sauter Timber can source CLT for your project from across the globe or we can work with custom- er-supplied unformatted panels. Simply ensure your panels meet to the dimensions listed below and let Sauter Timber handle the fabrication.

  • Minimum Dimensions: 60 mm (2-3/8″) x 1200 mm (4′) x 6000 mm (20′)
  • Standard Maximum Dimensions: 400 mm (15-3/4″) x 3600 mm (12′) x 16,500 mm (54′)
  • Maximum Length on Request: 19,500 mm (64′)”

Designing Your CLT

We offer comprehensive design assistance and in-house engineering for mass timber and CLT projects. To streamline the process, we prefer to work with 3D files in one of the following formats:

  • .dwg (HSB-CAD), .3d (Cadwork), .dwg, .dxf, .ifc, .SAT, or .3DM (Rhino).
